Gurman Logistics is an Orlando-based expedited freight brokerage serving shippers and carriers nationwide. We move time-sensitive freight with 24/7 support, real-time visibility, and a focus on transit time, cost, and coverage quality.
The Logistics Analyst turns operational data into decisions the brokerage team can use the same day. You will track how loads perform, find where time and money are lost, and recommend routing, capacity, and pricing changes that keep expedited freight moving. This role sits between operations and leadership: you need to be precise with numbers and clear when you explain what they mean.
If you enjoy finding patterns in messy freight data, building simple reports people actually use, and improving how a brokerage plans capacity, this position gives you a direct line into daily operations across the U.S. network.
Responsibilities
- Track KPIs such as on-time pickup, transit time, cost per mile, and carrier performance
- Analyze lanes, equipment types, and historical loads to improve coverage and planning
- Identify repeat delays, bottlenecks, and exception trends before they become customer issues
- Prepare concise reports and recommendations for dispatch, pricing, and leadership
- Support rate and capacity decisions with current market and internal performance data
- Maintain clean tracking of load outcomes so the team can act on accurate information
Requirements
- Experience with logistics data, freight reporting, operations analysis, or a similar role
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to explain findings in plain language
- Attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset
- Comfort working with operations teams in a fast-moving brokerage environment
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Nice to have
- Familiarity with TMS reporting, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Background in expedited freight, brokerage, or 3PL operations
- Experience building dashboards or recurring performance reports
Location and compensation
This is a full-time position based at our Orlando, FL office at 7101 Presidents Dr, Suite 260. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. We will discuss salary, schedule, and growth path with qualified candidates.
